Recently I was with a group of friends, and I was asked how my research was going with incontinence products. As an incontinence products specialist, I'm always learning new things about adult diapers & other incontinence products & devices.
One of the women (Nancy) exclaimed in amazement "I've always thought I was the only one with it! Now it's everywhere - tv commercials, the radio & now you're " ahem, awkward silence - but only for a moment Then our hostess said "Well...(as in the understanding weeelllll)" Nancy was stunned & had a strange mixture of relief & reluctance showing on her face. Thankfully, since we're all friends we all started sharing our own stories. We quickly realized that most of us had light incontinence thanks to childbirth!
Guess what? It's not just seniors & moms who wear adult diapers. There are those who are physically challenged, those with infirmities & those who just plain like to wear them. Add that to our aging population of baby boomers, with our life spans getting longer, many of us are already sizing up adult diapers.
Why are adult diapers, adult briefs, pull-ups, bladder control pads & incontinence liners & other incontinence products becoming so mainstream? Because Incontinence is not choosy who it affects. Incontinence doesn't care what your income is, of if you're an active volunteer, a couch potato or an athlete. Guess what, it doesn't even care how old you are!
So, you're now you've become enveloped in the world of adult diapers. Remember how embarrassing it was to buy pads & tampons when you were younger? Now, you get to face that same embarrassment all over again. You get to learn to go to the store in the hopes they have your size, or a good quality adult diaper that holds more than a sip of water. Chances are you won't find quality adult diapers in the stores.
But wait, there's a better way to do it. Go online and find quality, hospital grade, adult diapers that hold enough volume to allow you to live life to it's fullest. Don't allow incontinence to hold you back.
